Niyaa People are proud to be exclusively working in partnership with Waterloo Housing Association for the recruitment of 4 Lettings Assistants on fixed term contracts until the end of March 2019 at the Birmingham Business Park Offices.

Following a recent restructure and merger with Fortis Living, Waterloo have now added 4 Lettings Assistants roles to the Housing Management structure.

Working for a leading provider of affordable housing across the Midlands region with housing stock over 27,000 you will act as the first point of contact for customers with Lettings/Allocations queries.

As a Lettings Assistant, your main duties and responsibilities will include:

• Process termination notices received from tenants
• Advertised newly available properties using the current Choice Based Lettings system
• Take responsibility for the organisations waiting list
• Carry out income and expenditure assessments on perspective tenants
• Work alongside repairs and maintenance teams to assist in void management

The successful Lettings Assistant will also:

• Demonstrate the ability to hit the ground running on a fixed term contract
• Have experience within a Lettings or Allocations environment in a Housing Association or Local Authority setting
• Excellent written and verbal communications with a strong knowledge of Microsoft packages
