In this position, you will be: · Preparing monthly management accounts with clear and insightful commentary · Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes · Delivering variance analysis and financial insights to stakeholders · Managing accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations · Partnering with housing and operational teams to support financial performance · Assisting with year-end or audit requirements where needed · Identifying and implementing process improvements
I’d love to speak to any Management Accountant who has: · Proven experience as a Management Accountant (essential) · Previous experience within social housing or a housing association (essential) · Strong knowledge of month-end processes · Excellent stakeholder engagement skills · Advanced Excel skills and experience with finance systems (e.g. SUN, Civica, MRI) · The ability to start quickly and work independently
