Enjoy a long-term Electrician role working within occupied social housing properties, carrying out testing, inspection and remedial works. This role offers consistent work, competitive hourly rates and the opportunity to move into a permanent position.
You’ll be working in occupied properties, completing electrical testing and ensuring installations remain safe and compliant. Previous experience working around tenants and within social housing would be particularly beneficial.
I’d love to see CVs from anyone who has worked as an Electrician, Electrical Tester, Testing Electrician or Domestic Electrician within social housing or similar domestic environments.
As an Electrician, you will be:
Carrying out EICRs within occupied social housing properties
Completing electrical testing and inspection
Identifying faults and completing associated remedial works
Testing existing electrical installations to current regulations
Working safely and professionally within tenants’ homes
Completing relevant electrical certification and paperwork
I’d love to speak to anyone who has:
City & Guilds 2391 Testing and Inspection qualification
Gold Card preferred
Alternatively, City & Guilds Level 2 and Level 3 electrical qualifications
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Previous occupied social housing experience preferred
Strong experience with domestic electrical testing and remedial works
Ability to work professionally within occupied properties

Location & travel This role is based in Derby, working within occupied social housing properties across the local area. Travel between properties will be required as part of the testing programme.
