ElectricianTake on a long-term temporary contract with weekly pay and consistent local work as an Electrician, carrying out reactive electrical repairs across domestic properties in Newark and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy in-house repairs team, helping to keep residents' homes safe while covering a period of increased workload and annual leave.
You'll be working within occupied properties, responding to day-to-day repair requests across a local patch. This is a reactive maintenance role rather than an EICR programme, making it ideal for someone who enjoys fault finding, repairs and delivering a high standard of customer service.

As an Electrician, you will be:
Carrying out reactive electrical repairs within domestic properties
Diagnosing faults and completing remedial works
Making installations safe and carrying out minor testing where required
Working across a local housing patch with no extensive travel
Attending the main stores/office when required before travelling to jobs
Providing clear job updates and completing repair records

Location & travelThis Electrician role is based around Newark and the surrounding areas, with travel limited to the local housing stock. Candidates will ideally have their own vehicle, with business mileage reimbursed from the main stores/office location. Interviews will take place via Microsoft Teams, with an expected start following approximately one week of onboarding and IT setup.
