Niyaa people are on the look out for a Senior Quantity surveyor to join a well established contractor based in Manchester. Our client are a property consultancy that specialise in the provision of services to the public and social housing sector. They are on the look out for a motivated Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a permanent basis.

General Overview of the Senior Quantity Surveyor role:
- To undertake effective financial management during pre-commencement stage
- To play a fundamental role within the PSDS / Zero Carbon Projects Team to ensure the efficient delivery of each scheme.
- To mentor and manage junior member of the Commercial Team.
- To undertake pre-commencement activities such as tendering and pricing of works for submission to client, appointment of consultants, subcontract negotiations and appointments.
Experience required:
- Successful track record of construction project delivery. Public Sector decarbonisation / retrofit projects experience is desirable.
- Experience of planning, organising and prioritising workload whilst maintaining high levels of accuracy
- Degree in Quantity Surveying (desired)
