As a Supply Chain Manager, you will be:
Overseeing budget planning, costings and financial reports to see potential savings for the housing and maintenance teams
Tracking and managing budgets versus actual spend, ensuring contract compliance and monthly review of invoices
Supporting material and contractor costs to ensure spend is kept within budget
Leading on material procurement with agreed tendering policies, authorised within financial regulations
Administering contracts with external suppliers
Developing and delivering procurement strategies, and review and maintain a catalogue management system for all suppliers
Working with the operational teams to assist in the management of van stock

Proven commercial experience within housing or building maintenance
Experience managing supply chain, and a track record delivering value for money savings and service improvements
Contract management experience
Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
Understanding of public sector procedure and procurement frameworks
Qualifications:
Ideally MCIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) or equivalent
Strong background in overseeing commercial operations across social housing or maintenance services.
Skilled in handling multiple contract formats from inception to completion.
