As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will be:
Working across a range of commercial sites including schools, colleges, and nursing homes
Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repair of commercial gas systems
Completing associated commercial plumbing works where required
Ensuring all work is completed in line with safety and compliance standards
Participating in a 1-in-4 call-out rota
I’d love to speak to anyone who has:
Relevant commercial gas certifications (e.g. CCN, CENWAT, CODNCC01, CDGA1, CAGA1)
NVQ level 2 or level 3 in mechanical or plumbing (or equivalent)
Commercial plumbing experience (preferred)
A full UK driving licence (with minimal points)
Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check

This role is offering a base salary of up to £50,000 as a basic salary with a 1-in-4 call-out rota (£175 payment) as an opportunity to increase your earnings.
Location & travel This Commercial Gas Engineer role is field based, working across a portfolio of commercial sites (Southampton, Portsmouth, Fareham and as far as Basingstoke, Bournemouth). With a fully equipped company van and fuel expenses covered, commuting between jobs is made easy. You’ll be working in varied environments including education and care settings, offering a diverse and engaging workload.
