An opportunity has arisen to join a growing Midlands-based maintenance and property services company who are working on a number of lucrative contracts with local authorities. As a result, they are looking to add a Finance Manager to their team. Reporting directly to the Operations Director, you will be based at their head office in Derby and will be overseeing the accounts function for the business.
Focusing on all aspects of property maintenance, this is the perfect time to join a renowned organisation with an established reputation of investing in their people. As a Finance Manager, you will be interacting with various stakeholders within the organisation, and as a result you would need to have a background in Property Services & Maintenance.
As the Finance Manager your duties and responsibilities will include:
Completing weekly and monthly payrolls for employees
Overseeing both Sales & Purchase ledger, as well as Credit Control
Managing a team of Accounts Assistants
Preparing VAT Returns, P60s and all submissions to HMRC
Managing both daily and weekly cash flow projections for the organisation
Dealing with finance related queries via both email and telephone
To be successful as a Finance Manager you will have:
Experience with Sage 50 Accounts and Sage Payroll
Have AAT accreditation
A background in Construction, or Property Services & Maintenance is preferred
Ability to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment
Accurate data entry skills
Customer service skills and good telephone manner
Experience in a similar role, as an Accounts Manager, Office Manager, Finance Manager

A competitive salary between £32,000 - £36,000 per annum
