Customer Service Advisor

A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced Customer Service Advisor within the revenue and benefits section in the Northamptonshire area. Due to a recent increase in workload, a Customer Service Advisor is now required for a 3 month potentially ongoing contract to hit the ground running, and to assist a small team to improve the efficiency of the revenue and benefits department.
Key Duties of a Customer Service Advisor-
·Provide advice and support to customers on the benefit scheme, council tax and universal credit
·Demonstrate outstanding customer service at all times
·Billing, recovery and processing electronic payments
·Deal with customer enquiries face to face and over the phone

To be a successful Customer Service Advisor-
·A general knowledge of revenues benefits & support
·Understanding of relevant legislations within housing benefits and council tax
·Previous experience in a similar capacity as a Customer Service Advisor would be advantageous
·Use of Academy revenue computer system would also be desirable
