Head of Supported Housing

Niyaa People are currently working alongside an established provider of affordable housing in the West Midlands to recruit a challenge driven individual that can oversee Sheltered Housing and Independent Living functions whilst producing service improvement plans.

As the Head of Supported Housing you will:

• Line manage the Retirement Living and Community Housing Managers.
• Maintain and develop the existing relationships and partnership working with local authorities
• Liaise with local authorities and training/employment providers to produce new opportunities and access to accommodation for existing service users
• Plan, develop and deliver Health and Wellbeing Programmes
• Working alongside the Senior Leadership Team to create clear service guidelines and improvement recommendations

You will also have:

• Experience within change management, ideally within a local authority, housing association or charity setting.
• Access to a vehicle for business purposes and a current enhanced DBS
• A passion to support vulnerable service users to sustain tenancies

The successful Head of Supported Housing will understand the need for continuous improvement within a Retirement Living/Sheltered Housing setup.
