An architecture firm who prides themselves on listening and has total passion for what they do are recruiting for a Business Development Manager.

The role:

As Business Development Manager, you will collaborate with the team throughout the business. Your goal will be to successfully identify, cultivate, and solicit business opportunities for the company, focusing on predominantly education along with commercial and industrial, with a clear understanding of revenue-driven goals.
Duties:
·Determine sales strategy based on firm-wide financial goals.
·Identify and develop business strategies to achieve revenue goals and business objectives.
·Engage and influence industry executives and decision-makers.
·Represent the business at the highest level to clients, peers, and business associates.
·Work with technical and marketing staff to develop proposals, scopes of work, and fee estimates.
·Research and analyse potential business prospects, and work with team to develop plans to optimize business opportunities to its full potential.
·Be highly evolved in the training of technical and marketing staff on BD-related issues.
·Manage client briefs and the delivery
·Manage pipeline activity and report on progress with figures on GP and sales.
·Develop, maintain and leverage a strong industry business network.
·Participate in a wide range of networking events.
In order to be successful in the role, you will have a comprehensive knowledge of the architectural industry and practices contributing to a leadership persona. The successful candidate must be flexible, creative, self-driven, results-oriented, and able to work without close supervision. A high level of authenticity in building relationships to inspire the best effort from staff and clients is essential.
