Business Development Manager

An engineering company who specialise in building services and installations is looking to take on a new Business Development Manager to manage the FM side of the business.

Based in the Warwickshire region, this business is going strong and they have built up an enviable list of clients, most of which retain 85% worth or repeat business. From HVAC, to reactive maintenance and M&E, they have it all covered, whether this is for special projects, design and even fire alarm systems.

The role: Business Development Manager

You will be tasked with engaging with both new and existing clients, to develop the client relationships further. Your target audience will be the end user, project managers, and architects, PQS teams to secure new and repeat work, either by tendered or direct award. Alongside this would be expected to organise and attend events that promote the business and push the brand to maximise exposure within the industry.

Your duties:

·Work within the East and West Midlands territory to seek new business that falls in line with company objectives
·Provide monthly reviews and reports on progress; pipeline, forecast industry news and events, meetings etc.
·Attend pre and post tender meetings and launch meetings
·Prepare presentations
·Complete PQQ documents
·Organise social events


·Leadership within M&E with excellent knowledge within the industry
·Track record of proven pre-construction and estimating within the M&E installation sector
·Excellent communication, written and verbal skills
·High level or organisation, self-discipline and drive to meet deadlines
·Personable with a go get em attitude
·Follow up commitments to maintain accurate records

In return:

For this role you will be earning from £40,000 - £45,000 or more; depending on your experience with a £400 per month car allowance or company car, along with:

·9% pension
·25 Days holiday plus bank holidays, to increase 1 day per year after 5 years' service (30 days)
·£0.32 mileage
