Asset Data Team Leader

A reputable, forward-thinking Social Housing provider who manage over 30,000 homes across England is currently seeking an enthusiastic, Asset Data Team Leader to join their Asset Team on a permanent basis. You will be based in the Reading office with easy access to motorways and public transport links.

As the Asset Data Team Leader you will be responsible for:

• Managing Asset Data Administrators and Auditors to ensure the effective completion of team tasks, therefore a background in leadership is required.
• Manage the asset creation administration process, ensuring newly acquired stocks are set up within ActiveH.
• Regularly conduct audit checks on asset management data held in MIS ActiveH by identifying and correcting errors and anomalies to ensure the integrity of the asset data.
• To assist the Asset Data Manager with collation, interrogation and cleansing of all input data prior to routine stock appraisals using AVAT.
• Manage the data import process relating to Stock Condition, Energy, Asbestos, FRA and other surveys

To be successful in the role of Asset Data Team Leader you will:

• Have excellent IT skills including experience of all Microsoft Office Applications, especially Excel due to the requiring ability to create and maintain VBA Macros, Pivot Tables and other features.
• Have Good knowledge and experience of MIS ActiveH and/or similar IT Housing Management systems
• Extensive knowledge of interrogating, analysing and managing databases e.g. compiling reports, understand attribute structures and life cycle costing
• Have experience of managing a small administration team
• A good understanding of the principles of property maintenance and asset management stock condition survey information
• Have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Packages including Excel, Word and PowerPoint Presentation
• Demonstrate the passion to add value and consistently provide a high level of service
