Take on a long-term contract role with weekly pay and consistent work as an Electrician, carrying out kitchen rewires across occupied domestic properties mainly throughout Leicester. This is a great opportunity to join an established property services team delivering a busy planned kitchen upgrade programme.

You’ll be working across multiple live properties, completing electrical works at different stages of each kitchen refurbishment. This role would suit someone who is comfortable with steady, repeatable work, can work efficiently to programme, and is happy moving between properties as required.

I’d love to see CVs from anyone who has worked as an Electrician, Domestic Installer, or Electrical Installer within social housing, planned works, kitchen upgrades, or similar domestic environments.

As an Electrician, you will be:

Completing first fix and second fix electrical works as part of a kitchen rewire programme
Chasing out, rewiring, and preparing electrical installations during the first stage of each refurbishment
Returning to properties to complete fit-off and second fix works
Working across multiple occupied domestic properties and live workstreams
Supporting a structured programme with each property running on an approximately 10-day cycle
Working alongside other trades to keep kitchen refurbishments running to schedule

I’d love to speak to any Electrician who has:

18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Experience completing domestic first fix and second fix electrical works
Previous experience working on kitchen rewires, planned works, social housing, or similar domestic programmes
A reliable approach and the ability to work across multiple properties
The ability to work efficiently across a high-volume programme
A 2391 testing qualification is not required, as testing and compliance sign-off will be completed by dedicated personnel. ECS and CSCS cards are also not required for this position.

Location & travel
This role is based mainly across Leicester, working in occupied domestic properties as part of a planned kitchen rewire programme. You’ll be moving between properties depending on the stage of each refurbishment, so the position would suit someone organised, adaptable, and comfortable working across a busy programme.
