Take on a contract role with consistent void-property rewire work and an immediate start as an Electrician, carrying out full domestic rewires across social housing properties in the Burton area.
You’ll be working as part of a small team across empty properties, completing both first-fix and second-fix installations. The initial requirement is for two tradespeople, with the potential for the team to increase to three as the programme progresses.
I’d love to see CVs from anyone who has worked as an Electrician, Domestic Electrician or Rewire Electrician within social housing or similar domestic environments.
As an Electrician, you will be:
Completing full rewires within void social housing properties
Carrying out first-fix and second-fix electrical installations
Working alongside other tradespeople to complete properties efficiently
Ensuring installations meet current electrical regulations and required standards
Working safely and maintaining a high standard of workmanship
Travelling independently to properties across the Burton area
I’d love to speak to an Electrician who has:
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
City & Guilds 2391 or relevant equivalent
Strong experience completing full domestic rewires
Experience with first-fix and second-fix installations
Previous social housing or void-property experience
Own reliable transport
Availability to start at short notice
ECS/JIB Gold Card would be beneficial, subject to final client requirements
