Bedford 22 - 24 per hour Contract

We are currently looking for a Multi Trade Operative too carry out Carpentry repairs and general maintenance across Social Housing residents' homes between the West Midlands area. This Multi Trade Operative role has a start date on 16th November. You'll be working for one of the largest most reputable contractors in the UK.

I'd love to hear from anyone with experience in carpentry, social housing repairs, property maintenance or responsive maintenance.

This Multi Trade Operative role is offering:

£22- £24
Ongoing work on a long-term social housing programme
Varied work across local residential properties
Potential for a permanent position as the workload grows
Mileage paid

As a Multi Trade Operative, you will be:

Installing and repairing internal and external doors, windows and door frames
Completing locksmithing and gaining entry works, including lock changes
Completing basic Carpentry maintenance repairs and Multi repairs
Undertaking associated plumbing, plastering, tiling, decorating and general maintenance.
Carrying out all carepntry works
Assisting with general repairs and maintenance in residents' homes
Identifying maintenance issues and completing work independently

I'd love to speak to anyone who has:

Previous experience in a Multi Trade Operative role and property maintenance
Experience working in social housing or occupied residential properties
Own tools
Confidence using a smartphone or tablet to record work
A full UK driving licence and Own van
A DBS check or is willing to under-go one

Location & travel
This role covers social housing properties throughout the West Midlands, with applicants ideally based around those areas.
