As a Legal Assistant, you will be: • Supporting the Legal Team with the preparation, review, and processing of legal documents and contracts • Assisting in managing caseloads, maintaining accurate case files, and tracking key deadlines • Conducting legal research and gathering relevant information to support case preparation • Handling correspondence and communications with internal departments and external partners • Ensuring compliance with organisational procedures and data protection requirements
We'd love to hear from anyone with: • Experience as a Legal Assistant, Paralegal, or in a similar legal support role • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to document management • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively • Confidence using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel • A professional, discreet, and proactive attitude when handling sensitive information
Key requirements for this Legal Assistant role: • Previous experience supporting a legal or governance team (preferably within housing, property, or public sector law) • A good understanding of legal terminology and documentation • Strong communication and teamwork skills
