As a Legal Assistant, you'll be assisting the team with housing management cases, including civil injunctions and possession claims, while fostering strong collaboration between internal stakeholders and external legal partners. As a Legal Assistant, you will be:
Assisting with preparing claim forms, pleadings, and witness statements for civil injunctions and possession claims in the County Court solid drafting skills are required.
Providing advice to our internal clients on a range of housing management issues, with a particular focus on anti-social behaviour.
Liaising with barristers we instruct on cases, ensuring effective communication and smooth case progression.
Providing administrative support, including preparing hearing/trial bundles and managing case files.

Excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise a varied caseload and meet competing deadlines.
A solid understanding of civil litigation procedures and exposure to civil drafting.
Familiarity with the Civil Procedure Rules.
Previous Experience: Ideally, you will have worked in a civil litigation environment, with exposure to civil drafting and housing law. Experience in housing management or supporting legal teams in tenancy-related cases is a plus.
Qualifications:
2:1 Law degree and practical experience in a legal setting, OR LPC-qualified or equivalent.
Key requirements for this Legal Assistant role:
Basic DBS check.
Proficiency in IT and experience using legal case management software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to manage a diverse caseload.
