Make a real impact in property management with a hybrid role covering leasehold and private rented homes across Greater Manchester.
We're looking for a confident and experienced Leasehold Officer to take ownership of a diverse portfolio, ensure legal compliance, and deliver excellent service to residents. This is a key role in a growing team, ideal for someone with strong leasehold knowledge and a proactive, customer-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities of a Leasehold Officer:
Manage a portfolio of leasehold and private rented properties, including inspections, repairs, compliance checks and tenancy management.
Set and monitor service charge budgets, lead Section 20 consultations, and manage insurance claims, repairs and sinking funds.
Oversee the lettings process for market rent properties, including void management, inspections, and coordination with letting agents.
Process statutory and voluntary property transactions, including Right to Buy, Right to Acquire, lease extensions, staircasing, and assignments.
What we'd love to see from you:
Proven experience in leasehold property management and block management.
Strong knowledge of Section 20 legislation and service charge processes.
Experience handling Right to Buy and other property ownership transitions.
Excellent communication, organisational and IT skills, with a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
