In this position, you will be:
Managing tender processes from start to finish, including complex and high-value projects
Providing advice and support on purchasing, supplier management and compliance requirements
Preparing tender documents, assessing bids and supporting contract awards
Working with teams across the organisation to develop cost-effective commercial solutions
Identifying risks and opportunities to improve services and deliver value for money
I'd love to speak to anyone who has:
Experience in procurement, purchasing or supplier management within a local authority or public sector organisation
Knowledge of tendering processes and commercial practices
The ability to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines
A practical and proactive approach to solving problems
A Degree level qualification and Level 3 CIPS Diploma
