Anti-Social Behaviour Officer Birmingham £28 £31 per hour (Umbrella) Hybrid Working 2 Days WFH Long term Temporary Contract
We're working with a leading housing provider in Birmingham who are looking for an experienced Anti-Social Behaviour Officer to join their team on a temporary basis. This is a hands-on role where you'll be on the frontline managing a varied caseload of anti-social behaviourfrom low-level nuisance to high-risk, complex cases requiring legal action.
What You'll Be Doing:
Managing a full ASB caseload, dealing with everything from neighbour disputes to serious breaches such as harassment, violence, and drug-related activity
Preparing witness statements, gathering evidence, and working with legal teams to progress cases through court
Supporting victims and witnesses throughout the process, ensuring they feel safe and supported
Conducting interviews, home visits, and site inspections as part of investigations
Working closely with the police, local authorities, and other partners to take joint action where necessary
Taking swift enforcement action, including issuing warnings, injunctions, and possession proceedings
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in a similar Anti-Social Behaviour Officer role within housing or a local authority
Strong knowledge of ASB legislation, tenancy enforcement, and legal processes
Confident in handling challenging situations and communicating with residents in a calm and professional manner
Skilled in preparing court packs and attending court hearings
Comfortable working independently and managing a busy, high-volume caseload
Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
