We're recruiting for a Communities Manager on behalf of a well-established housing association in the Devon. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced housing professional to step into a pivotal role within a respected association that's offering a great package and benefits.
We're looking for a Communities Manager who has:
Relevant experience in housing management services
Sound understanding of social housing particularly legislation relating to tenancy management and ASB
Experience of identifying and assessing risk together with putting in place controls to mitigate the impact of those risks
Budget management experience
Experience of building effective working relationships both internally and externally
As Communities Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
To lead, manage and coach a diverse team of staff to ensure the effective provision of the housing management service
To develop, manage and monitor the housing management service to include ASB and Enforcement, Gypsy and Traveller Sites
To keep up-to-date with best practice, legislation and regulation for the effective provision of housing services and disseminate this information to directly managed staff, the wider organisation and stakeholders as appropriate
To oversee complaints/service failures relating to the range of tenancy related matters and update and manage the Housing Service's risk register accordingly
